Tabla Head Bayan, 9", Special

The special heads are made in Mumbai. The Mumbai head traditions makes heads from skins that are thicker than the typical heads. This makes them a little harder to tune but the durability is much better.

Make sure to remember the following instructions:

These drum heads typically have a thick syahi (gob) and produce a soft and tender sound. They are made of high-quality, durable skin. When measuring the drum head, be sure to measure the diameter of the wooden barrel (after removing the old head) and not the diameter of the entire tabla head.
